My art and my mind focus on exploration into often unobserved, unknown and abstract concepts. Exploring the contrast and commonalities of the natural and everything artificial, the impermanence of life and visualizing the blending of artificial and natural with a vibrant color pallette. I believe in embracing dynamic perspective shifts and piecing together the big picture through many lenses. As an outsider artist my style is intuitive and guided by expressive movement resulting in free painting. I am driven to create as a way to slow and calm my mind. I work with acrylic and fabric paint, sharpies, posca, and more resulting in highly textured works- I like to think of it as art you can feel! I utilize as many found items and upcycled surfaces as I can, and through this practice I am able to offer artwork accessibly priced. Please approach me if there is a piece you are interested in that is outside of your budget, I always prefer to have my art loved in people's homes where it can bring joy.
