Via Bentley

Artist Bio:

Via Bentley is a local Wisconsin self-taught traditional artist. She usually works with acrylic paints to create a variety of artworks. The main focus of Via’s work usually is usually animals, ranging from small creatures to large. She has shown her work in various capacities from being a vendor to competing in live painting competitions.

Artist Statement:

My goal when painting is to encapsulate the essence of my subjects. I enjoy painting animals with unique expressions and vivid colors. I believe in capturing emotion and feelings in paintings by using expressive imagery to reel the viewer in. For me, painting is an important escape where I can get lost in the colors and strokes of my paintbrush. My favorite part of the process is the final minutes where everything comes together and life is brought to the piece.
