Paul Marxen
Paul has been drawing and painting since he could hold a crayon in his hand.

He studied fine art at Elmhurst College (B.A. '68), the Art Institute of Chicago and received a degree in commercial art from Ray-Vogue Shcol of Design in Chicago ('79).

Paul's art career includes drafting, stage sets, typesetting, catalog design and printing, and thousands of works on paper, posters, canvas, fabric and even bison jawbones.

Paul's science fiction works won many awards at science fiction conventions in the 1970's and 1980's. Even in his recent series of paintings on biblical themes, Paul's enjoyment of fantastical themes is evident. Paul's linguistic ability also shows in many of his works.

Recently, Paul has donated works to Oshkosh charity auctions, including Habitat for Humanity. Paul exhibited in the National Arts Program St. Luke's Medical Center Art Show the last four years, winning in the professional category.
